Donor Advised Funds

If you have a Donor Advised Fund, you can recommend a grant to Montclair Ambulance Unit directly through your fund administrator, a simple way to support us using assets you’ve already set aside for giving. Contact us if you need any additional information for your fund administrator.

Gifts of Stock

When you donate appreciated securities, you may avoid capital gains tax while deducting the full fair-market value of the contribution. And because you’re donating stock rather than selling it, Montclair Ambulance Unit receives the full value, making stock gifts a powerful win-win. 

IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution

You can give any amount (up to an individual maximum of $111,000 for the 2026 tax year) from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA) directly to a qualified charity, such as Montclair Ambulance Unit. This popular gift option is commonly called a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD), but you may also see it referred to as an IRA Charitable Rollover.

Leave a Legacy

  • Twenty years ago, Montclair Ambulance Unit responded to my 911 call for Fire Dept. assistance. Workers had accidentally set our roof on fire. One of the responding police officers knew that I was 3 months pregnant and informed the ambulance crew before I even saw them. They were concerned, extremely knowledgable and professional. Please give to support the folks you need… but may not realize it until you actually NEED them!
